Steve Gentleman from the UK Brain bank will be joined by colleagues from the world of funding, clinical research and policymaking to describe how they work together to deliver impactful research, and what the future looks like for patients.
You can also learn what funders are doing to make sure their money brings results: Ken Gabriel from Wellcome Leap keynotes on day 2, explaining why and how they are bringing business to research funding.
Katherine Freeman from the ESRC: Economic and Social Research Council will also talk about how research sandpits can bring about new ideas, new collaborations, and real impact.
